Tips for Holiday Self-Care
Well, here we are, just a few short weeks before we wrap up the end of 2021. I know this time of year can be incredibly hectic and stressful, especially for HR Leaders.
Resist the Workcation
What’s the downside to not ever being able to ever fully disconnect from work? It’s bigger than you might think. Rates of employee burnout have skyrocketed over the past year and there’s no sign of things letting up. Rest is essential for optimal function. Learn some do’s and don’ts to set yourself up for a proper break this summer!
Building Resilience for You and Your Team
Burnout won’t go away once the pandemic is gone, so we must all learn ways to boost our resilience for the long-run. And for those leaders among us who are used to powering through and rarely, if ever, taking the time to refill our tanks, we need to shift our mindset. It’s enough to make you want to hibernate through the rest of the year, but there is hope.
The Power of Compassion
Compassion is key for getting through difficult times such as these. Showing compassion not only allows you to feel better, but it helps those around you to feel better, too.
